Bird Breeders are constantly poping up and selling out. Scammers are in every classified internet site I have visited. The internet is full of people looking to make money without really "working."  Breeding and socializing macaws, or any exotic animal, requires a lot of work. Many bird breeders are cutting corners to save money, yet the macaws they sell are still advertised at market price.  The purpose of this site is to help you get a healthy, well socialized macaw from professional bird breeders and handlers. The breeders on this site are what I call bird breeders elite, breeders who are professional and honest.

Pet Macaws are not your everyday domestic animal. Most all macaws and parrots still have very strong wild instincts which makes keeping them as pets a challenge. This challenge needs to be met with enthusiasm and patience. Learning to understand "wild" behavior will help pet owners to make adjustments with a macaw or parrot in their home.
